Summary

The effects of the current federal retrenchment on nonprofits are profound and sector-wide, but it is definitely hitting some fields harder than others. In this session, NPGPS presents an analysis of field-specific differences, looking also at their responses to those stresses.

Among the fields we will look at are public broadcasting and other politically targeted groups, behavioral and community health organizations, and food security groups. What have each of these groups learned in the past decade that informs their responses, and what are the differences in what solutions are available to one rather than another? These are among the many questions we will take up.
