Join us online for a comprehensive virtual information session delving into the details of our upcoming First Generation Professionals Cohort Program, set to kick off Friday March 13, 2026 . Please note that attending the information session is optional and not a requirement to apply for participation in the cohort program.

Overview:
The Center for Nonprofit Management (CNM), in partnership with BDO Nonprofit & Grantmaker Advisory, invites Executive Leaders who identify as First-Generation Professionals to a cohort-based leadership and financial learning experience.
Today’s nonprofit leaders are navigating unprecedented financial pressure, funding instability, compliance risk, and workforce strain – often while carrying complex personal relationships with money, power, and responsibility. This cohort was designed to meet that reality.
Through expert-led learning, peer exchange, executive coaching, and wellness-centered practices, participants will strengthen both their financial leadership and their internal confidence to lead through uncertainty.

- Increased confidence using financial statements and financial language

Intended Cohort Audience:
This cohort is designed for executive leaders who identify as First-Generation Professionals, including those who are:
- First in their family to attend college and become professionals
- From working-class or modest socioeconomic backgrounds
- The first in their family to hold a senior leadership or executive role
