Building a strong board to lead during crisis and sustainability
Boards and board members are being asked to step up in new and challenging ways during these tumultuous times. This has required executive directors to working differently with the board as the level and quality of board engagement during a crisis will directly impact how the board performs in the coming years. Each organization and its board is facing different and unique challenges that test the board, the board/executive director relationship and the engagement of board members. While board recruitment is critical at this time, your organization must consider how do you leverage the strengths of those currently on the board to meet the needs facing the organization?
Program Development

Learn what it takes to develop and run a successful program in your organization
Whether you are interested in enhancing a current program or starting a new program from scratch, developing or building a program and keeping it running on budget can be intimidating or overwhelming without the right plan in place. This session is designed to tackle these challenges head-on. In the context of a small group, learn new tools and strategies to develop, build and maintain a program from the ground up – while staying on mission, on time, and within cost parameters.

Roll up your sleeves to learn about and improve your strategic planning process
Gain an overview of key steps involved in creating an achievable strategic plan that stakeholders will be excited to implement. We will work together to define what kind of plan you want to create, clarify the steps, identify participants and their roles, and ways to leverage the planning process to achieve your goals. You will also be equipped with lots of practical tools and worksheets that you can use in your planning process.
