Successful Transitions: Exploring Succession Planning

Strategies for a planned or unplanned leadership change.
About This Seminar

As the workforce changes, many Americans are looking seriously toward what to do next. In the nonprofit sector, executive directors and board members are supposed to protect the sustainability of the organization, especially when there is a change in leadership, but often avoid putting plans in place because they aren’t sure how to talk about it. Whether a change comes next month, five years from now, or some time in between, here’s an opportunity to strengthen your organization and prepare your team for an inevitable change in leadership. Attendees will explore sensitive issues and map out a plan during the session.

Topics Covered
  • What should we consider?
  • What will it take to make our transition work well?
