Supervising people presents challenges as well as opportunities for growth. This seminar is designed for both new and experienced nonprofit supervisors and those who have had no formal training for their role. During this class, you’ll sharpen your skills to better plan and prioritize, communicate with and motivate your staff, and network and learn from other supervisors. Come away with new approaches for working with your team to best accomplish your goals.

Instructors
Patricia Navarro – Learning & Events Manager, Center for Nonprofit Management
Patricia brings to CNM more than 15 years of experience supporting the nonprofit community. Her passion to empower people by helping them to learn and grow has been what drives her in the different roles she has played. Patricia has coordinated and managed trainings, events, and conferences; she has coached adult learners and managers; and she has facilitated trainings for volunteers and clients – all of which she has conducted in both English and Spanish. At CNM, Patricia oversees certification programs, administration of scholarship grants, and customized trainings. She is a key part of the team that coordinates CNM’s seminars, workshops, events, and the 501(c)onference. She holds a B.S. from ITESM, a prestigious university in Mexico, and is a Certified Coach by Goldvarg Consulting Group (an ICF accredited program).
