Alda Merino-Caan – Strategist, CNM
Alda has more than 10 years of experience in the nonprofit realm, providing training and professional development, mentoring leaders of both new and established organizations and designing successful and long-lasting programs. At CNM, Alda participates in evaluation by working directly with donors, organizations, and those involved during the various evaluation phases of program management to coordinate and provide support.
Alda also provides capacity building consulting, training and facilitation, and mentoring for nonprofit organization leaders. She facilitates professional growth workshops and coaching both in small groups and individually. Alda helps organizations progress through strategic planning, evolution and governance of the Board of Directors, improvement of funds and resources, communication and supervision. She has a Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School and a BA in International and Intercultural Studies and Spanish from Pitzer College
