Los Angeles is facing its history of institutional racism by working with community-based organizations that are trusted to implement this project. City representatives will share how community organizations can develop programs like the Peace & Healing Center model in nine Reforms for Equity and Public Acknowledgment of Institutional Racism (REPAIR) Zones: Arleta-Pacoima, Mission Hills-Panorama City-North Hills, Westlake, West Adams-Baldwin Village-Leimert Park, Skid Row, Boyle Heights, South Los Angeles, Southeast Los Angeles, and Wilmington-Harbor Gateway.
