Marcia brings over 30 years of experience and training in program development, program and community evaluation, clinical social work, emotional and psychological education models, diversity training, and community outreach. Her evaluation work includes conducting participatory and mixed methods research on various youth and young adult development programs in primarily low-income communities of Los Angeles. As a trained and licensed therapist, Dr. Wilson is knowledgeable of trauma-informed practices to guide and inform evaluation and participatory data collection methods. She also has extensive experience (over 30 years) teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels in the areas of research methods, statistics, program, and community evaluation, practice, and social policy, as well as drafting evaluation reports and recommendations. Marcia holds a BA in Sociology, Masters of Clinical Social Work, and Ph.D. in Social Work from the University of Southern California.
