Accessing Recovery Funds
Get help with prepping and applying for upcoming government contracts and funding including American Rescue Plan (ARP) funds
The Center for Nonprofit Management (CNM) and its partner BDO FMA are ready to assist organizations in accessing, applying for and managing current and upcoming American Rescue Plan (ARP) funding opportunities and contracts to serve LA County communities most impacted by COVID. We are especially looking to engage BIPOC-led and BIPOC-serving organizations operating under a budget of $2.5M in this effort to ensure equitable access to funding. Our work together will support participating organizations, enabling them to understand and prepare for contracting requirements, assess current capacity needs, and explore other services available to help your pursuit of government dollars.

Getting Started:
Become a Registered Vendor with LA County
Every entity that wants to do business with LA County (through contracting or grants) needs to be a registered vendor. With every Request for Proposals (RFP), Work Order Solicitation (WOS), Master Service Agreement (MSA), Request For Statement of Qualifications (RFSQ) or other process used to award County funds, you will be asked you for your organization’s vendor number which is a result of the vendor registration process.
Take the next step in doing business with LA County by registering or update your vendor information NOW so you’re ready to apply when appropriate opportunities are released!
New Opportunities for ARP Funding
We recommend organizations regularly check the listing of upcoming funding opportunities in LA County.
Office Hours
CNM and BDO FMA are in the process of developing Office Hours to provide hands-on technical assistance to organizations interested in contracting with LA County. Intended to provide organizations with more time to work through the challenges they face, these Office Hours will be hosted beginning in mid-October.
These sessions are useful for organizations that:
- Have attended one of our Accessing Recovery Funds seminars and are experiencing challenges in implementing what they’ve learned
- Are applying for a current LA County funding opportunity and need support
- Are considering applying for a current opportunity and need to determine if the opportunity is right for them
If this describes your organization and where you are at in the process, we’d love to meet with you. Fill out the form linked in the button below to let us know your interest in attending, and we’ll follow up with more information.
Upcoming Office Hours will be made available as new funding opportunities are listed.
Upcoming Events
We’ll be hosting several sessions to support organizations in the coming weeks. Spanish translation and interpretation services are available if requested at least 48 hours in advance.
