Building growth and resilience, Angelica forges key partnerships and fosters sector support to drive meaningful community change. Throughout her career, she has led vital public campaigns that integrate strategic marketing with essential safety net programs across California. Angelica’s dedication to environmental justice has included work on sustainable climate initiatives such as L.A.’s Streetlight EV Charging Project and as a leader in developing the City of Los Angeles’s L.A. Lights Strategic Plan. With a commitment to uplifting underserved communities, she blends innovation and advocacy, ensuring a lasting impact on Southern California’s landscape. Angelica holds a master’s degree in urban planning from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona and a B.A. in political science from California State University, Los Angeles. She serves as chair of the Community Action Board for the City of Los Angeles.
